Later, after repeated persuasion and guidance by the police officer, Xiao Sun finally revealed the entire situation.

At around midnight on November 13th, 17-year-old Xiao Sun from Lu'an, with 500 yuan stolen from his parents, arrived at the first-floor waiting hall of Hefei Railway Station, preparing to take a train to Nanchang, Jiangxi to meet an online friend. His parents arrived in time to try and stop him, so he knelt down and begged them for mercy to "let him go."

"When the young man knelt down and kept bowing his head forcefully, multiple times later, a blood blister the size of a ping pong ball had formed on his forehead," a witness said. The young man kept talking, begging this couple while bowing his head: "Let me go, I want to earn big money to support you."

The police officer obtained the phone number of the female online friend from Xiao Sun, then called her pretending to be Xiao Sun's friend to inquire. "We asked her what specific work she does, but her answers were always evasive. Later, she even hung up the phone. When we called again, her phone was already turned off," the police officer explained.

Xiao Sun said that the female online friend is two years older than him and lives in Nanchang. He doesn't know exactly what work she does. "She said that her birthday is coming up soon and hopes that I can accompany her to celebrate it. She also told me that there are quick ways to get rich there," Xiao Sun said.

Witnesses stated, "These two middle-aged men and women were advising the young man not to go to Nanchang. The young man didn't listen to their advice and insisted on going, leading to arguments between them."

After understanding the matter, the on-duty police officer brought this family of three to the waiting room police office and persuaded Xiao Sun together with his parents, hoping that he would not remain stubborn. However, Xiao Sun did not listen to their advice and kept boasting that "going there could make big money."

After the incident, the on-duty police officer at the railway station quickly arrived at the scene. After inquiry, the bowing young man surnamed Sun, is from Lu'an in our province, and the man and woman are his parents.

Why did the young man kneel down to his parents? It was learned that Xiao Sun originally planned to take a train from Hefei to Nanchang, Jiangxi, to meet a female online friend he met just a few days ago. His parents found out and rushed overnight from Lu'an to Hefei Railway Station to prevent their son from meeting the female online friend, fearing he might fall victim to a scam. Unexpectedly, Xiao Sun spoke convincingly, but his parents remained unmoved, so he resorted to bowing his head and pleading for leniency from his parents.

According to Xiao Sun's parents, their son is 17 years old and currently attends a vocational school in Hefei city. A few days ago, he returned home from school and spent his idle time chatting online, where he met a girl from Jiangxi. They chatted very well together.

"Since he met this girl online, these past few days he has often stayed up late chatting online without sleeping," Xiao Sun's father said. "A few days ago, he said he wanted to go to Nanchang to meet this online friend. The girl claimed to have quick ways to get rich, and he said he could make big money there. We didn't agree, saying that the other party might be a scammer."

On the afternoon of December 12th, Xiao Sun's parents returned home and discovered that a wallet containing 500 yuan cash was missing. By evening, their son still hadn't returned home, realizing that their son might have taken the money and run away to Nanchang.

"It's unclear what this female online friend told him, but suddenly my son seemed like a completely different person," Xiao Sun's mother wiped her tears and sighed, "He used to be very obedient, now he doesn't tell us anything anymore."

The police judged through the content of the conversation that the female online friend might be a member of a pyramid scheme group, and Xiao Sun almost fell into the clutches of the pyramid scheme group.

Thinking that their son might come to Hefei to transfer and then head to Nanchang, Xiao Sun's parents quickly took a taxi straight to Hefei.

At around 1 a.m. on the same day, the police criticized and educated Xiao Sun, treated his head injuries, and helped them buy return tickets for the morning, allowing them to return home smoothly.
