Jilin Medical Information Library Organizations, Personnel Status, and Recommendations: In accordance with the requirements of the meeting's spirit, to make the knowledge structure more reasonable and achieve the medical information industry development plan (1989-2000), it is proposed that college graduates and above should account for 50% to 70% as a lower limit. Thirdly, several suggestions are made to promote the book industry of medical information in our province, aiming to further develop and align it with health development. Based on findings from the survey, the following suggestions are presented:
1. Improve thinking and understanding, strengthen organization and leadership. It is proposed that leaders at all levels further enhance their intelligence awareness, incorporating medical information into the overall planning of health development. Effectively place it on the agenda. On the basis of the existing provincial medical technology intelligence leadership team, establish the province’s medical intelligence management committee (hereinafter referred to as CMC) responsible for organizational management and coordination of the province’s medical information books work. City (prefectural) Health Bureaus should establish appropriate organizations or recruit personnel based on local conditions, specifically responsible for the management and coordination of local medical information books work. Provincial medical information books agencies at all levels should strive to implement unified leadership under the management committee.
2. Develop medical information in planning and the Eighth Five-Year Plan. Establish and improve medical intelligence agencies at all levels. According to the Ministry of Health and Provincial Health Office's spirit, cities without established medical intelligence agencies should actively create conditions and strive to establish appropriate agencies within one year. Existing provincial, municipal, state medical information book agencies should further strengthen and develop various departments, avoiding unsuitable medical intelligence personnel being placed in the organization of medical information books. Transfer high-quality medical information and intermediate medical and health professional technical staff to enrich the thistle medical information team, establishing a quality good, professionally supporting medical information team, conducting business training, and carrying out user education.
3. Recognize medical intelligence officers as part of the medical defense technology team, playing an important role in promoting the development of medical science. Measures should be taken to stabilize the existing medical information team, developing manpower training programs, strengthening intelligence officers' service education, and providing corporate training through various ways to give full play to the role of library and information departments of medical colleges in the province. 4. 5. Under possible conditions, medical information books institutions should provide paid services, actively organize income-generating activities, and constantly enhance self-development capabilities.
6. Strengthen network construction and fully play the role of the network organization. The Medical Information Library Network is the overall performance of the lip medical information system that should be organized. Currently active in the network organization of medical information books needs further development and growth.
