Investigation revealed that at around 1:30 AM on January 29, 2012, after being drunk, suspects Zhang X, Mi X, Gao X (female), and Aniu (female) encountered victims Xu XX and Xu X on Zhongxing Street in Yanning Town, Yanjing County. A fight broke out between the two parties due to verbal altercations. Suspect Zhang X used a knife he was carrying to stab Xu XX and Xu X in the chest, back, and other areas, causing the two victims to die from hemorrhagic shock. After the incident, the four individuals fled in a taxi near the long-distance bus station in Yanning Town towards Weicheng. When the car reached Yangliu Bridge in Shuanghe Township, the four individuals took the driver's car keys and continued driving towards Xichang with Mi X driving the taxi. As they approached Xiaogao Mountain top, the four individuals pushed the driver out of the car and continued fleeing. The suspects were intercepted by police officers set up by the Yanjing County Public Security Bureau near the Coal Ravine Tunnel in Jinhe Township, and all were captured.
