On November 8, the Changfeng County Cultural Market Comprehensive Enforcement Team, based on information gathered during investigations and public reports, successfully dismantled two unlicensed illegal internet cafes and two unlicensed electronic game rooms.
Recently, citizens reported through the 12345 Government Service Hotline that there were illegal internet cafes operating near Daigang Community in Shuangfeng Industrial Zone and near the storage station at Century City Workers' Home on Mengcheng North Road. After receiving the report, the Changfeng County Cultural Market Comprehensive Enforcement Team organized law enforcement officers to conduct an investigation in Shuangfeng Industrial Zone on November 8. The law enforcement officers started their investigation from Daigang Community in Shuangfeng Industrial Zone and then proceeded to the Mengcheng North Road storage station area for further evidence collection.
Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the two locations pointed out by the informant were indeed unlicensed illegal internet cafes. These establishments had chaotic operations, poor environments, and prominent safety hazards. The law enforcement officers immediately shut them down, ordering the two illegal internet cafes to cease operations and accept handling. On-site, they seized 9 computers and 3 switch boards. The case is currently under further processing.
Subsequently, based on information obtained earlier, the law enforcement officers conducted overt and covert inspections in Fengxia Community of Shuangfeng Industrial Zone. They discovered two unlicensed electronic game rooms, located close to each other, which were still in operation with many consumers present due to it being after business hours.
After showing their credentials, the law enforcement officers conducted inspections, dispersed the consumers playing games, and seized 4 amusement machine motherboard units. They also ordered the two unlicensed electronic game rooms to immediately cease operations. Both owners expressed willingness to close their businesses immediately and cease operations. (Li Cheng)
