Sharp is much stronger than Panasonic in the development of new products. This picture shows how Sharp can display three different images on an LCD (of course, you have to look from three different angles). From the front, you see a dog; from the right, you see a GPS navigation map; and from the left, you see Mount Fuji.
This new LCD can simultaneously display three different video signals on the same screen, distinguishing these three signals by viewing angle. For example, if you install such an LCD in a car, the driver sees the GPS navigation system, the passenger sees Mount Fuji, and those in the back seat see the dog — no one gets disturbed, how great is that! Besides being used as an in-vehicle display, can you help brainstorm other places where it could be used?
