The China Electrical Industry Low-Carbon Technology Alliance was established in Beijing.

On October 13th, the China Electrical Industry Low-Carbon Technology Seminar and the establishment conference of the China Electrical Industry Low-Carbon Technology Alliance were successfully held in Beijing. To meet the needs of China's low-carbon transformation construction work, promote the transformation of the development model of China's electrical industry, scientifically respond to the challenges of low-carbon technology, and share the opportunities brought by low-carbon development, the China Electrical Industry Association, together with leading enterprises, research institutes, testing and certification institutions in the industry, jointly initiated the establishment of the China Electrical Industry Low-Carbon Technology Alliance.

The establishment conference of the China Electrical Industry Low-Carbon Technology Alliance was presided over by Fang Xiaoyan, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Electrical Industry Association, with Yang Qiming, Executive Vice President of the China Electrical Industry Association delivering a speech. Attending the meeting were Jiang Zhaoli, Director of the Domestic Policy and Compliance Department of the Climate Change Response Division of the National Development and Reform Commission; Sun Jiama, Director of the Energy Conservation and Science & Technology Equipment Department of the National Energy Administration; Wang Li, Director of the Consumer Goods Section of the Industrial Department Two of the Standardization Administration of China; Tan Xiangning, Director of the Standards Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation; Xing Yujiu, Honorary President of the China Electrical Industry Association; and a total of 100 members of the alliance. The conference was organized by the China Electrical Industry Association, co-organized by Shenyang Huali Electric Group and Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. All parties attending the conference congratulated and praised the establishment of the Low-Carbon Technology Alliance, stating that it would provide an excellent platform for promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and facilitating the development of a low-carbon economy in China, and could make a positive contribution to the progress of China's future low-carbon cause. Guo Liping, Senior Engineer of the China Electrical Industry Association, introduced the alliance formation plan and related work ideas, while Xing Yujiu, Honorary President of the China Electrical Industry Association, read out the approval document for the establishment of the alliance from relevant departments.

Immediately following the establishment conference, a low-carbon technology seminar was held, where expert representatives from Shenyang Huali, Siemens, Schneider, China Quality Certification Center, China Standardization Research Institute, SGS Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd., and the German TÜV Rheinland Group delivered brilliant reports respectively. They introduced the current status and future trends of low-carbon technology in the domestic and international electrical industries to all parties present, providing strong support for promoting the development of low-carbon and environmental protection in China's electrical engineering industry, and received unanimous praise from attendees.
