Server data recovery concept

From a narrow perspective, server data recovery refers to the information stored on server storage media as data. Any changes to this information beyond subjective intent can be considered destructive. Correspondingly, server data recovery is the process of restoring abnormal data on the server back to its normal state. For most businesses and national functional departments, the importance of server data can be summarized in one sentence: the server has a price, but the data is priceless!

The damaged server data can be divided into two major categories: system data and user data. For system data, due to its relatively stable and universal nature, it is generally easier to recover (some very important configuration information should be planned as user data, meaning all non-universal and changing data should be categorized as user data), which makes people feel that narrow-sense data recovery does not include their recovery. However, when a system encounters problems, it is also a very complex issue, especially since systems today are quite large, and reinstalling them is extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive.
