Tormented by his past, Dr. Krit (Ararat Eva) is a psychiatrist who treats criminally insane patients at the Chiang Mai Hospital. But his demanding job has also put him under tremendous stress. A policeman friend of Krit's refers a new case to him - a young girl named Tor, who is suspected of being abused. Tor has numerous bruises on her arms and often lets out blood-curdling screams. She claims to see the ghost of a bloody boy in the mirror at home and feels an invisible force dragging her around on the floor.
Dr. Krit wants to bring Tor to the hospital for treatment, but her mother, Young-on (played by Mai Charoenpura), refuses to cooperate. She fears that others will think her daughter is crazy and only wishes to live quietly and peacefully. Tor's mother is a young, sexy widow, and the doctor succumbs to temptation, engaging in an illicit relationship with her. Meanwhile, strange occurrences keep happening around Tor. The closer he gets to them, the more he becomes entangled in sinister events.
