Lastly, the shrinkage rate, barium value (an indicator for measuring fabric gloss), colorfastness, and whiteness, all of which are technical indicators used by the state to measure bedding. The shrinkage rate of fabric refers to the percentage of contraction of the fabric after washing or soaking. Generally, synthetic fibers and their blended textiles have the highest shrinkage rates, followed by wool products and linen products, with cotton products being moderate.
