The Vehicle "Disintegrated," Fragments Scattered Over a Hundred Meters

Dozens of meters away from the Bora at the bridge pier, there were car parts like bumpers, engines, mirrors, tires, and exhaust pipes scattered everywhere. About a hundred meters away on the road, there was also a tire's carcass and other parts that had been flung far by the impact.

Among the scattered parts on the ground, there were two bloodstains, along with several mismatched shoes and handbags.

"It was too terrible!" At the scene of the accident, taxi driver Mr. Xu, who has been driving for six years, said he had never seen a car accident where the parts of a car could be "ejected" over a hundred meters away. "Tonight I'm going straight home; I don't dare to take any more fares."

One Dead, Four Injured – Everyone on the Car Had Been Drinking

It was learned that at the time of the incident, there were four men and one woman in the Bora. Among them, the driver was male, and the woman was sitting in the front passenger seat.

Family members of the people in the car introduced that on the night of the incident, two individuals were taken to the police station after causing trouble due to being drunk at a karaoke bar. Subsequently, friends came to pick them up from the police station, but they didn't want to go home, so a few people went out to drink again. After drinking, while driving towards Liuliqiao, the accident occurred.

"We were all drunk. The car was driving, and then I was thrown out. I can't remember who was driving." A man with rib injuries said to the police in the hospital.

Currently, the police have basically identified the driver, and the accident is still under further investigation.

"That was terrifying, my legs went weak"

More than a hundred meters ahead of the accident scene, there was a Nissan car parked. The driver was sitting in the passenger seat, and two friends who had rushed over were consoling him.

Recalling the scene from more than twenty minutes ago, the Nissan driver was still shaken. He said that at the time of the incident, he was driving normally when he saw a gray car speeding towards him through the rearview mirror, then it collided with the right bridge pier.

"The car just flew up, flipped over, and spun around." The Nissan driver stated that the damaged car had a tire fly toward him, so he quickly dodged. Although he managed to avoid the flying tire, his car door was still hit by the scattered parts, and one of his tires was damaged.

"It was too scary! My legs went weak at that moment." The Nissan driver said that because the incident happened suddenly, he couldn't recover from the shock. Therefore, he called two friends to help drive the car back home.
