Small items, big uses.

I never understood why goods need to be placed on pallets or stacked boards, and why there needs to be a certain distance from the ground or walls. It's just a board! Back in my hometown, I saw things being placed directly on the ground or right up against the walls to save space. For example, when storing cotton or grain, and as for some vegetables, since we couldn't store them at home, we would simply dig a basic "cellar" in the ground and bury them there. Using this method, improper storage often led to spoilage and waste, and it was inconvenient to retrieve items when needed. Later, I learned that using pallets, especially plastic pallets, offers many advantages: they have high load-bearing capacity and long service life (with added anti-aging agents), are lightweight, flat, and aesthetically pleasing. They are seamless, free of nails or splinters, non-toxic, odorless, resistant to acids and alkalis, do not rot, are not prone to bacterial growth, easy to clean and disinfect, non-flammable, static-free, spark-free, explosion-proof, and slip-resistant. These features make pallets an essential tool for modern enterprise transportation, packaging, and warehousing. They are great helpers for storing goods, separating them from the ground and walls by a small distance, ensuring convenient access to goods while providing excellent moisture-proofing, ventilation, and pest control.

In enterprises, production, storage, and transportation follow clear processes. Pallets and stacking boards effectively separate raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, goods awaiting inspection, and defective goods. Products with special storage requirements are stored according to regulations, allowing for precise tracking of product quantities, batch numbers, and expiration dates in warehouses. In some specific industries, such as pharmaceuticals and food, using shelves and pallets to store goods is mandatory; goods cannot be arbitrarily piled on the ground.
