The film "Admiral Kolchak" focuses on the legendary military career and love life of the famous Russian naval admiral, Aleksandr Kolchak. Kolchak served as the Operations Minister of the Baltic Sea Fleet, the Commander of the Torpedo Squadron, and the renowned commander of the "Black Sea Fleet" during the Russo-Japanese War and World War I. Directed by Andrei Kravchuk, who in 2005 won the Best Children's Film and the Children's Jury Award at the 55th Berlin International Film Festival and the 28th International Children's Film Festival for his movie "The Beginning of Happiness." The lead role is played by the popular Russian actor Konstantin Khabensky, known for his roles in "Night Watch" and "Day Watch."
