Everex Officially Launches the Mini Desktop for Just $499

On February 29, 2008, at 17:34, Everex officially launched the affordable "lunchbox" mini desktop computer, the gPC. It is equipped with a 1.83GHz T2130 processor, 120GB hard drive, 512MB of memory, a DVD burner, and an Intel GMA950 integrated chipset, all for just $499.

In terms of I/O, the gPC features Ethernet, DVI/S-VIDEO output ports, FireWire, four USB slots, a four-in-one card reader, as well as audio input/output ports, offering a fairly comprehensive range of interfaces. Everex's product comes pre-installed with the gOS operating system, so users who aren't comfortable with it may need to customize their setup themselves.
