Experience in Repairing Haier Washing Machine with Weak Motor Operation
The fault phenomenon is that the motor can start, but the starting time is long and the speed increases slowly. Or when running idle, the starting and operation seem normal, but after adding load, the speed drops significantly, or even fails to start. The causes of this fault are basically the same as those of the fault where the motor cannot start but has a buzzing sound. Since the motor can start, there is no open circuit fault in the winding, and the capacitor still has the function of phase separation starting. In washing machines, the most common reason for weak motor operation is the reduced capacity of the capacitor, so the substitution method is often used to check the quality of the capacitor first.
