On the way back from the room to the office

How peaceful it is! I played the few songs left on my phone, which had been replayed countless times, indulging myself in the music. Through the music, I reminisced about certain people and events. I wanted to bask a little longer, wanting to use the sun to drive away the remaining coldness in my body, without any wind. With the wind, there would be some chill, and the sun's brilliance would be overshadowed by half, its power greatly reduced. Perhaps it was going to rain again soon. I knew it in my heart, but it was not something to be told to outsiders. I looked at the time with a raised hand, then walked towards the canteen.

Looking down at the ground, a caterpillar was wriggling its body forward. It was probably also here to enjoy the sunbath like me. I didn't care whether it was a pest or a beneficial insect. At this moment, every living thing was my companion, no matter how weak. How could beautiful things be exclusive? Of course, we should learn to share. The life of a caterpillar must not be easy either.

Standing for too long made me want to squat; squatting for too long made me want to sit. If only there was a reclining chair! If only there was a bed to lie down on, that would be truly wonderful!

Lifting my head, closing my eyes facing the sun, warmth filled every pore and cell of my cheeks. Many things in this world are unevenly distributed and unreasonable, but sunshine and rain are fair to everyone. It all depends on whether you are willing to enjoy them or not.

On the way back from the room to the office, at a turning point, the noon sun shone gently. I stopped in my tracks, put everything aside, and basked in the sun first! It was already the fifth day of the last month, and having such a sunny day was rare and hard to come by. Warm sun, it has been a long time since we last met, and I can't even remember how many days have passed without seeing it. Without the sun, who suffers besides you and me? Other animals and plants are also enduring the torment of the cold.
