Fault Analysis: After powering on and checking, it was found that when the power switch was pressed, the washing mode selection would also activate simultaneously. At this point, other settings could not be made. Sometimes, even though the program could be set, it could only run once. After one wash cycle, resetting would have no response, and the machine couldn't start. Based on the fault symptoms analysis, since the washing program can proceed, it indicates that the microprocessor is working basically normally. The problem might be due to a faulty button switch.
Fault Inspection: Measuring each button switch with a multimeter, it was discovered that the resistance of the button switch sometimes became 0Ω, and sometimes it was normal, presenting an unstable state. After removing the indicator panel of the button switch, the touchpad located in the resin layer was visible. Removing the top layer revealed the third layer of touchpads. To increase thickness and protect the normally open status, rubber chambers were attached around each touchpad. Then, following the reverse order of disassembly, everything was reassembled. A trial operation was conducted after turning on the machine, but the fault still existed. The button switch was then replaced, and another trial operation was performed. The washing machine worked normally, and the fault was eliminated.
