The overall appearance of the new C-Class continues the design style of the new S-Class and CL-Class, exuding a strong sense of modernity at first glance. The body lines are elegant yet dynamic. The dimensions of the vehicle have increased compared to the previous generation: length has increased by 55mm to reach 4581mm (Mercedes-Benz C-Series); height has increased by 42mm to reach 1770mm; and the wheelbase has increased by 45mm to reach 2760mm.
In terms of styling: the facelifted C-Class still comes in two main versions - Avantgarde (fashionable) and Elegance. The most obvious modification on the exterior of the facelifted C-Class is in the headlights, where LED lights have been incorporated, a current trend. The entire headlight contour is less rugged and sharp than the current model, appearing more elegant and resembling the butterfly wing shape of the CLS.
In the front bumper area, there are significant differences between the Avantgarde and Elegance models of the facelifted C-Class. The new bumpers have a distinct AMG flavor, making the facelifted C-Class appear more sporty overall. The addition of LED daytime running lights not only keeps up with trends but also adds a touch of technology. At the rear, the more sporty bumper design and tail lights with LED effects give the facelifted C-Class a livelier overall feel.
In the interior, the facelifted C-Class reinforces the sporty atmosphere just like the exterior. Whether it's the new sport steering wheel or the three-dimensional tri-tube instrument panel, they all highlight a sporty ambiance. In the center console, redesigned air vents and button layouts give the interior a refreshed feel, while the new gear lever design reflects a comprehensive update inside the facelifted C-Class.
Configuration changes: A newly added multifunctional instrument display can show information from the Attention Assist driver attention assistance system. On the upgraded Comand system, wireless internet access functionality is provided. Additionally, drivers can use Google Maps for map search and navigation on the new center console screen. The system also offers navigation route storage and loading functions.
Powertrain configuration: The fully updated facelifted C-Class will enter the Mercedes-Benz CGI era, with a complete update of its powertrain compared to the current model. The new 3.5L V6 engine announced by Mercedes-Benz earlier will also be included in the power lineup of the facelifted C-Class. Meanwhile, with the installation of the ECO start/stop system and the inclusion of the new 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission, the fuel consumption performance of the newly facelifted C-Class will improve by 31%, and emission performance will also be enhanced.
