I originally intended to create a special topic on this, but unfortunately the scope was too broad and I kept putting it off. Recently, I came across an article written by Wonfeng, which greatly inspired me. So, I gathered a lot of materials and prepared to put together a collection of current IM mobile applications.
The following are all IM mobile applications, referring to mainstream IMs like MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Gtalk, ICQ, AIM, etc. Most of them are selected from foreign websites. The connection method may be mostly via CMNET and does not guarantee compatibility with all phone models. However, you can choose the best ones for yourself. Due to limited energy, I cannot provide detailed introductions:
1) MSN MOBILE: This is the official version from Microsoft. I used it before and found it not very aesthetically pleasing, but now it seems quite powerful. It's rumored that some versions have started charging, which is frustrating!
2) GIZMO: Supports multiple mainstream IMs and cheap calls, feels pretty good!

3) Verichat: Recently, what drove me crazy the most was that Verichat couldn't log in these few days. It was still usable on the 13th. This software has been my go-to choice. Paired with the full keyboard of BlackBerry, most of the netizens I chat with don't even know I'm using a phone! Although it has had issues recently, I'm reluctant to abandon it. Let's wait and see.
4) MIg33: I've introduced this one before. It integrates mainstream IMs quite well and is a great piece of software. I find the cheap calls it provides very affordable (this conclusion is based on my comparison with Jajah, Skype, Eqo, Gimzo, etc.).
5) Webmessenger: This is most likely the product I would use to replace Verichat. Unfortunately, it can't connect to the server on BlackBerry! It has strong functions! It was just announced as free recently, whereas it used to sell for dozens of dollars!
6) Eqo: This software also supports QQ, but unfortunately, my BlackBerry has never been able to log in. Now, each account registration comes with a gift of 20 RMB. It supports cheap calls, costing only about 0.3 yuan per minute to the US, allowing for long free calls!
7) Fring: This has always made me drool, but unfortunately, it only supports Symbian and WM. It supports multiple IMs and VOIP, with a nice interface!
