The spring ploughing and sowing season is approaching. To protect farmers’ legal rights, the agricultural machinery department of Laixi City, Qingdao started a Spring Agricultural Machinery Anti-counterfeiting Operation for Protecting Farmers at mid-March.
According to the introduction, this year’s Spring Agricultural Machinery Anti-counterfeiting Operation for Protecting Farmers focuses on investigating four illegal activities: First, investigating the production and sale of agricultural machinery products without obtaining or forging the "Production License", approval number, or quality qualification certificate; Second, investigating the production and sale of agricultural machinery products without product quality standards; Third, investigating the forgery of origin or unauthorized use of other manufacturers' names and addresses; Fourth, investigating the illegal assembly of agricultural machinery and selling or repairing agricultural machinery without relevant licenses.
During the operation period, the agricultural machinery department will carry out trustworthy agricultural machinery promotion in villages and towns by organizing honest agricultural machinery producers and star-level civilized agricultural machinery sales enterprises to send high-quality branded agricultural machinery and spare parts to villages and towns. In combination with the shield operation, they will conduct a thorough inspection of the agricultural machinery market within the city range, severely crack down on over-range operations, production and sale of fake and inferior agricultural machinery and spare parts that harm farmers, and fully maintain the order of the agricultural machinery market. Currently, the city has inspected more than 20 types of agricultural machinery products and spare parts from six agricultural machinery operating enterprises including Haote Agricultural Machinery Company, with a pass rate of 98%, effectively purifying the agricultural machinery market.
In addition, the city also regards improving farmers' scientific awareness as the key focus of this year's spring ploughing preparation. The Agricultural Machinery Bureau organizes technical personnel to participate in the spring ploughing preparation work. According to farmers' needs for agricultural machinery, they make use of the idle time before spring ploughing to do technical training work. So far, they have held more than ten technical training classes on protective tillage, deep loosening and land preparation, and agricultural machinery use and maintenance, trained more than 20,000 farmer technicians, and distributed more than 20,000 sheets of clear paper on protective tillage and deep loosening and land preparation, greatly stimulating farmers' enthusiasm for learning and using science and technology.
The city's agricultural machinery department has also conducted detailed investigations and calculations of the quantity of agricultural machinery needed for spring agricultural production, purchasing agricultural machinery products through multiple channels to ensure supply. Currently, all tools and spare parts needed for spring ploughing preparation are in place, including disc plow and harrow blade series. (Xia Xue)
