**XQB30-8 Little Swan Washing Machine, Drainage Failure**

**Symptoms:** The water intake and washing functions are normal, but the machine cannot drain water.

**Analysis and Maintenance:** First, it is necessary to determine whether the fault lies in the computer control board or the solenoid valve. Using a multimeter set to the DC voltage range, measure the voltage between the two ends of the solenoid coil leads (brown wire is negative, purple wire is positive). A reading of 220V DC indicates that the drive circuit on the computer control board has already sent voltage to the solenoid, so the fault should be in the solenoid valve. The resistance of the solenoid's attraction coil measures approximately 110Ω, which is normal. After opening the interlocked micro-switch on the solenoid valve, the coil resistance measures around 3000Ω, also within the normal range. Further inspection reveals that the fuse resistor has opened.

**Resolution Measures:** Replace the fuse resistor with one of the same model, thereby eliminating the fault.

**Emergency Handling:** If there is no identical model of fuse resistor available, a 2.5A fuse can be used as a substitute. This not only restores the normal operation of the washing machine but also effectively prevents damage to the drive circuit caused by increased current due to a short circuit in the electromagnetic coil.
