Title: Technical Guidance for Ronshen Refrigerator Repair; Handling the Breakage of Inlet and Outlet Pipe Connections of the Evaporator
Fault Phenomenon: The inlet and outlet pipe connections of the refrigerator evaporator are broken.
Analysis and Maintenance: When the breakage is caused by loose welding or corrosion at the joint, first sand the joint with sandpaper to make it smooth and clean it thoroughly with acetone. Then measure the outer diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes. Process a copper tube about 20mm long with an inner diameter slightly larger (by 0.05~0.08mm) than the measured outer diameter. From a chemical store, purchase E-44 epoxy resin and 650# polyamide, mix them in a weight ratio of 100:60~80 to prepare the adhesive solution. Apply this adhesive on the clean outer circumference of the joint and the inner wall of the processed copper tube. Then slip the copper tube over the connection points of the inlet and outlet gas pipes. After two days, the repair will be complete and the unit can be used again.
