Our staff reporter (Pierre Xiao Lan, correspondent Lu Lin Yan) After being driven away for knocking on the wrong door, Li Mou held a grudge and slashed others with a knife. Yesterday, it was learned that Li Mou had been sentenced to 6 months in prison by the Shijingshan District Court for intentional injury.
At around 10 p.m. on May 2nd of this year, after drinking and becoming unclear, Li Mou went to his fellow townsman's house at the Lianggong'an Water Plant Dormitory in Shijingshan District. He mistakenly knocked on Mr. Zhang's door. Mr. Zhang drove him away angrily. After returning to his place, Li Mou picked up a knife and returned to Mr. Zhang's residence, knocking on the door again. When Mr. Zhang came out, Li Mou slashed him with the knife, causing skin lacerations on Mr. Zhang's back, which were identified as minor injuries. Soon after Mr. Zhang reported the incident to the police, the officers captured Li Mou. Afterwards, Li Mou's family compensated for Mr. Zhang's losses.
The court ruled that Li Mou failed to properly handle the conflict with others, intentionally and illegally harmed others' bodies with weapons, causing minor injuries, and his behavior constituted intentional injury.
