Analysis and Maintenance: After the machine has been running for more than 10 minutes, touching the condenser reveals that it is not hot, the evaporator is not cold, and there is no cool air in the freezer compartment. Measuring the operating current shows a value much lower than normal, leading to suspicion of a faulty compressor. By removing the compressor’s exhaust pipe and starting the compressor, manually blocking the exhaust port reveals no gas being discharged, proving internal damage to the compressor. Since this refrigerator is a dual-temperature and dual-control model, the compressor will only stop working when both the freezer and the refrigeration compartments reach their set temperatures. Additionally, if either compartment reaches its set temperature, the compressor will start running. Therefore, the power of the configured compressor should be slightly higher to fully meet its operational conditions. After replacing the compressor with one that has a power rating of 170W, the fault was resolved.
