Southern Rural Newspaper report - On the morning of July 19th, six bankrupted farmer brothers from Yunfu City in Guangdong Province came for the second time near Guangdong Foreign Business Hotel on Guangzhou Avenue in Guangzhou city. They held up advertisement boards and a Sohu blog space to "auction" a court judgment document at a minimum price of RMB 80,000 yuan. They aimed to recover a delayed payment of over RMB 260,000 (principal) owed for rice noodles that had lasted for five to six years.

This event, reported by Southern Rural Newspaper, once again drew public attention, especially the high attention from Guangdong Higher People's Court. Recently, three staff members from Guangdong Higher People's Court Enforcement Bureau, along with eight personnel from Zhaoqing Intermediate People's Court Enforcement Bureau and Dinghu District People's Court, met with the involved farmers for a symposium in the conference room on the fifth floor of Zhaoqing Intermediate People's Court.

One of the farmer brothers, Liao Yongyong, believed that this auction was an act out of desperation. His 80-year-old mother was bedridden without money for treatment and urgently needed funds for medical care. Another brother, Liao Shuiwang, requested stronger enforcement measures.

During the symposium, Director Xie of the Provincial Enforcement Bureau emphasized that they would do everything possible to secure the maximum benefit for the farmer brothers as soon as possible. He also mentioned that they would report the case details to relevant departments. Furthermore, Director Xie assured the farmers to trust the law and believe in the judges. Additionally, Director Xie informed the farmer brothers that the three-level courts would continue to hold meetings in the afternoon to study this case. (Source: Southern Rural Newspaper)
