On November 11, I met Sun Hongge, the security guard who was beaten, in the orthopedic department of Changji Prefecture People's Hospital. He had five or six scratch marks on his left face and two wounds on his left hand, which were bitten by Chen Mou, one of the couple.
Sun Hongge is a security guard at the Xinjiang Geological Bureau's Second Hydrological Brigade. Their office building and residential building are in the same courtyard. He said that at around 1:50 am on November 9, while he was on duty in the guard room, another colleague went to check the office building. At this time, a taxi arrived, and he informed them that according to the unit regulations, taxis are not allowed inside, so he returned to the guard room.
From the surveillance video in the guard room, after Sun Hongge returned, a man and a woman got out of the taxi. The woman was drunk and supported by the man. She kicked the electric gate and together with the man forcibly pushed it open. Sun Hongge came out to stop them and was punched and kicked.
"I fell down and they kept kicking my head. I quickly called my colleague, and they stopped when my colleague came. Then I was sent to the hospital by a police car, and later I passed out, only waking up in the afternoon the next day," Sun Hongge said.
Sun Hongge's 70-year-old mother cried and said they were too cruel.
It is understood that the man who hit people surnamed Li. His girlfriend, Chen Mou, told reporters that she drank too much on that day celebrating her friend's birthday. Usually, after her night shift, taxis could enter the community, but that day she was stopped, so she angrily kicked the electric gate. But the security guard slapped her first, so her boyfriend stepped in. Her boyfriend was also injured, so he couldn't come, but she already apologized on behalf of her boyfriend and handed over 5000 yuan as a deposit to the police station for the treatment of the injured.
She believed that the recording of the community might have been tampered with, and there was no footage showing the security guard hitting them.
The entire process was witnessed by Mr. Yang, the taxi driver. Mr. Yang told reporters that the security guard didn't allow the taxi to enter, and his attitude was a bit harsh. The woman cursed and kicked the security guard, who pushed her back, and then the woman rushed forward to fight. "Possibly seeing his girlfriend fighting, the man also rushed forward to beat the security guard, who didn't fight back much. I tried to mediate but failed," Mr. Yang said.
Currently, the Green Oasis Road Police Station in Changji City has accepted the case.
