On December 11, a huge water buffalo suddenly went berserk when it was about to be loaded onto a truck and taken away from an enclosure in Sanzhong Village, Qingxi Town. The "crazy buffalo" gored anyone it saw and then escaped to a mountain. In this incident, three men and one woman suffered minor external injuries. Finally, the police came up with a clever plan: they used two other buffaloes to lure the "crazy buffalo" back into the enclosure and then loaded it onto the truck and took it away.

The Water Buffalo Went Berserk and Escaped

At around 11 a.m. on December 11, a truck drove into a small courtyard near Luxi Valley Ecological Farm in Sanzhong Village, Qingxi Town. The truck driver had been ordered to take several water buffaloes from this yard (specifically for the slaughterhouse) to a slaughterhouse in Guanjingtou, Fenggang Town.

The truck stopped beside a pile of sand in the courtyard. After getting out of the truck, the driver led the water buffaloes onto the truck. The first water buffalo was very docile, and the driver easily loaded it onto the truck.

"Come out!" The driver opened the gate of the "enclosure" and led the second water buffalo. This water buffalo was about 1.6 meters tall and weighed approximately one ton.

As the large water buffalo was about to walk out of the "enclosure," it suddenly got angry, lowered its head, and charged at the driver. The driver, being relatively agile, turned around and ran, narrowly avoiding being gored. However, the large water buffalo took the opportunity to charge up the hill behind the courtyard.

Rampaging and Injuring Three People

At that time, the large water buffalo had completely lost control. There was a couple weeding lychee trees in the lychee orchard on the mountain. The large water buffalo rushed towards them when it saw them. The couple was startled and quickly tried to evade. However, both were still injured by the buffalo. Fortunately, their injuries were only superficial.

After injuring the couple, the large water buffalo continued to charge up the mountain. About 200 meters away on the mountain road, a man passing by was also injured by the "crazy buffalo."

After injuring people, the "crazy buffalo" disappeared into the dust in the lychee orchard.

Capturing the Buffalo but Being Ambushed Instead

After the "crazy buffalo" injured three people, the driver was scared cold and immediately called Mr. Yang, who was guarding the "enclosure," and Mr. Ran, who was raising pigs nearby, to go up the mountain to find the buffalo to prevent further accidents. He also reported the incident to the police.

This was the first time such an incident of a "crazy buffalo" breaking loose and injuring people had happened in this "enclosure." Mr. Yang and Mr. Ran immediately followed the driver up the mountain to "apprehend" the perpetrator.

The three crossed the lychee orchard and climbed up the back mountain. At that moment, while they were discussing the possible hiding places of the "crazy buffalo," it suddenly darted out from a patch of grass and charged straight at them.

"Run fast...!" Mr. Ran noticed the "crazy buffalo" was about to attack them and shouted. Mr. Ran was agile; he turned around and climbed up a big tree. The driver, in a panic, also climbed up a small tree. Mr. Yang reacted too slowly to climb a tree in time and ran forward instead.

The "crazy buffalo" chased after him and lowered its head to gore Mr. Yang, which was a very dangerous situation.

Later, Mr. Yang said, "I have two legs, how could I outrun four legs? When I turned around and saw it charging, I immediately turned and ran. The 'crazy buffalo' missed me, and the scene was just like a bullfight."

After dodging the "crazy buffalo's" attack, Mr. Yang quickly climbed up a tree to avoid danger.

Possibly because the tree the truck driver climbed was small and his position wasn't high enough, the "crazy buffalo" turned around and charged at the truck driver. The small tree was hit directly, shaking violently, and the truck driver almost fell off.

After failing to injure anyone, the "crazy buffalo" turned around twice and then disappeared from their sight.

The Police Cleverly Captured the Buffalo Using Another Buffalo

Soon, the local police and security personnel arrived. Everyone split up to search for the "crazy buffalo." Eventually, the police spotted the shadow of the "crazy buffalo" in a patch of grass on the slope.

Because there had already been incidents where three people were attacked by the "crazy buffalo," the careful police did not disturb it. Instead, they monitored every move of the "crazy buffalo" from a distance to prevent any further accidents. Meanwhile, the police immediately devised a plan to deal with the "crazy buffalo."

Someone suggested shooting the "crazy buffalo" to solve the problem. However, if one shot failed to kill the "crazy buffalo," the consequences would be unimaginable. Therefore, "execution by gunshot" was not the best solution.

After much deliberation, the police decided to wait until the "crazy buffalo" calmed down and then lead two water buffaloes from the enclosure up the mountain to lure the "crazy buffalo" down.

At around 4:30 p.m., the police led the two water buffaloes up the mountain. The "crazy buffalo," now calm, approached upon seeing its companions.

The police officer leading the buffaloes quickly led the two water buffaloes down the mountain and successfully lured the "crazy buffalo" back into the enclosure.

However, when the driver tried to load the "crazy buffalo" onto the truck again, it went berserk once more and injured a young man. Nevertheless, the "crazy buffalo" was finally loaded onto the truck and taken away to the slaughterhouse to be slaughtered.
