In the early hours of yesterday morning, a murder case occurred in a barber shop near Chuanjiang Factory in Baise Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. The suspect killed a seven-year-old boy, Wan Liang (a pseudonym), and kidnapped his nine-year-old sister, Wan Feng (a pseudonym), before fleeing the scene.
After receiving the report, the police conducted investigations and successfully rescued Wan Feng near the Baise power station, about 3 kilometers from the crime scene. They then identified a man temporarily residing near the crime scene, Hu Jiansheng, as a major suspect. Over 100 policemen immediately set up roadblocks at all main traffic intersections entering and exiting Jiangjin to search for the suspect. At around 7:00 PM, Hu Jiansheng, a 22-year-old man from Hejiang County, Sichuan Province, attempted to escape under the cover of darkness near Niuhuangbei in Heishicun Village, Baise Town, but was discovered and apprehended by the searching policemen and local residents.
Upon interrogation, the suspect Hu Jiansheng confessed to the crimes of killing Wan Liang and kidnapping Wan Feng. Currently, Hu Jiansheng has been criminally detained.
