We must do a good job in engineering construction.

My name is ###, male, Han nationality, 30 years old, graduated from Zhengzhou ##### College's Civil Engineering department in the year XX. During my three-year study period, I obtained a regular college diploma.

After graduation, I joined the workforce and have been working in construction units focusing on technical construction. I have accumulated certain construction experience and am confident that I can successfully deliver the # Building project for the owner’s use.

Construction engineering is the process of transforming the designer's ideas from conceptual to physical form according to the design drawings. To carry out construction well, one must first be familiar with the construction drawings, understand the designer's intentions, and go through the process of understanding the design intent from the drawings and then revising the drawings (i.e., completing the pre-construction drawing review). Secondly, one needs to strengthen their understanding of the drawings, familiarize themselves with the basic overview of the project, consider specific construction plans, preliminarily identify the key and difficult points of technical construction, and prepare for subsequent construction operations.

In the construction process, measurement and layout work is crucial, running throughout the entire construction process. It is the soul of construction engineering. To do a good job in construction, one must ensure that the measurement, verification, and recheck procedures are all carried out (and the measurement and recheck work should be done by different people). Secondly, one should verify each construction layer, section, and point against the entire set of drawings, avoiding missing any small parts or components. Thirdly, check and confirm whether the practical operation level matches your own thinking, identify problems promptly, communicate effectively, and eliminate issues at their inception.

After completing a particular construction phase, timely inspections, acceptance checks, and summaries of experiences and lessons learned should be conducted. Problems identified should be corrected in the next construction phase to reduce recurring errors.

Construction engineering is an extremely meticulous task, and engineering technicians must treat it as their own artistic creation, striving for continuous improvement. One must have a good work style and work with the attitude of being responsible to the country (not wasting resources), society, and the owner. One should have the determination to "complete a project, establish a monument, and win a reputation." Only in this way can one perform their work well and become a qualified engineering technician.

Construction engineering is a group effort and cannot be accomplished by one or a few individuals alone. It requires close cooperation from top-level entities like quality inspection stations and design institutes down to labor workers to complete this complex task. Therefore, maintaining good communication and coordination among all parties involved is particularly important; otherwise, completing a good project will remain just empty talk.

As the saying goes, "If the skin does not exist, where will the hair attach?" A worker who does not consider the economic benefits of the boss and the company is cutting off his own future prospects and is not a qualified worker. He will eventually be eliminated by society. Construction projects involve large work areas and many workers. To achieve excellent economic benefits for the project, material management becomes very important. However, managing materials with only one person or a few people is far from sufficient. It requires everyone's joint efforts. As a technician, one must consider how to save materials from a technical perspective and cooperate with the project manager and colleagues to effectively monitor the site, cultivating good habits among the workers to conserve materials, creating better economic benefits for the company, and laying a solid foundation for personal growth.

The length of the construction period is also an important indicator of a project's economic benefits. Shortening the construction period not only allows the project to enter operation earlier, generating substantial returns for the client, but also reduces our construction unit's numerous machinery, material rental fees, and personnel management costs, lowering construction costs and improving economic efficiency for the company and the boss. In this aspect, the interests of the client and our construction unit are unprecedentedly aligned. Therefore, as a member of the project management team, assisting the project manager and contributing ideas to shorten the construction period is an inescapable responsibility.

An individual's ability and energy are limited. To better accurately understand drawings and standards, frequent communication and prior consultation can avoid many unnecessary disputes and rework, achieving a unified understanding, allowing the project to proceed smoothly and on schedule according to the planned requirements.

Although I am relatively young and lack extensive work experience and construction experience, I will leverage the advantages of youth—eagerness to learn, diligence, resilience, and abundant energy—to compensate for the aforementioned shortcomings. By studying diligently and asking questions frequently, I aim to become an excellent technical talent and contribute to the growth of Hongsheng Company.

I love my major and am passionate about my position. I believe that under the guidance of the client and the engineering department, the # Building project can proceed smoothly and meet the completion acceptance requirements stipulated in the contract.
