Zhangjiagang Xiyue Specialized Hospital, after being approved by the Zhangjiagang Health Authority, officially opened on March 15, 2010. Under the guidance and care of relevant departments at all levels of the city government and the group headquarters, the hospital staff worked hard, started a difficult entrepreneurship, pooled their wisdom, and with their intelligence, labor, and loyalty, and with the spirit of being the master, actively invested in the construction and development of the hospital, achieving excellent social and economic benefits. Below is the summary of the work for the year 2010:

I. Establishing regulations, perfecting standards, constructing the hospital at a high starting point and high standard

After opening, the hospital quickly established various standard systems. We referred to the successful experiences of other hospitals within the group, absorbed the essence of various systems of public hospitals, and quickly formulated various basic rules and regulations of the hospital. Medical and nursing work are the core of hospital work, and medical and nursing quality management is the most important aspect of hospital management. Therefore, the medical and nursing departments formulated outpatient work systems, prescription systems, medical record writing systems, emergency team work systems, ward management systems, verification systems, medical and nursing safety management systems after opening. They also formulated medical technology and nursing operation standards, various medical and nursing operation procedures. And under the situation where the professional qualities of outpatient guides were uneven, they adjusted and standardized various processes, trained personnel to meet and satisfy patient demands, laying the foundation for the smooth development and operation of the hospital.

II. Attracting talent, strengthening training, using technical advantages to occupy the medical market

Talent is the most precious asset of the hospital and also the most competitive factor in the medical market competition. After opening, the hospital adhered to the principle of attracting talent, strengthening training, and using technical advantages to occupy the medical market. We hired a batch of excellent medical experts, medical technicians, and nursing professionals through various methods. First, we registered them with the health department of Zhangjiagang. Among the hired experts, there was Deputy Chief Physician Zhao Riyang from the Department of Internal Medicine, who graduated from Anhui Medical University. Before opening, the hospital used the form of on-site recruitment fairs, first screening the nursing staff applicants. After registration with the health department, the hospital provided pre-job business training, specialized training, and operational training for the newly employed nursing staff. The content included changing concepts, employee manuals (various rules and regulations), medical quality, medical insurance prevention, "three basics" training for nursing professionals, hospital infection control, emergency training for critically ill patients in the hospital, and medical device management. And under the situation where the professional qualities of outpatient guides were uneven, they adjusted and standardized various processes, trained personnel to meet the needs of our hospital as a general hospital to carry out work. Through training, it enhanced everyone's recognition of the hospital, strengthened everyone's business concept and service, improved team awareness, enabling everyone to open up new horizons with a brand-new concept.

III. Grasping the market, adjusting positioning, calmly seeking the market coordinates of the hospital

As a new specialized hospital located in Jin Feng Town, Zhangjiagang, if we want to use our resources to win the market in future development, we must have detailed market analysis and determine our market positioning to target market expansion. Since our hospital is the only privately-owned hospital in Jin Feng Town, the group company positioned our hospital as providing "high-quality, high-tech, integrating medical treatment, prevention, health care, and rehabilitation" services at a high standard.

The high welfare and high coverage of medical insurance in Jin Feng Town, Zhangjiagang objectively affected our rapid progress towards becoming a designated medical insurance service hospital. After multiple reviews by the relevant authorities, we have successfully passed the approval process. Designated medical insurance service will be one of the key focuses of our Xiyue Specialized Hospital in the future.

IV. Strictly controlling quality, enhancing service, continuously improving hospital management level

Quality is the core of the hospital, the life of the hospital, and also the basis of efficiency and the guarantee for the long-term development of the hospital. Based on this concept, the hospital paid attention to each link during its operation, strictly controlled quality, and placed "safety first, quality first" as the top priority.

Service is the most competitive means for private hospitals compared to public hospitals and also a clear measure of whether a hospital is good or not. Since the opening, each department and position of the hospital has formulated service standards and requirements to achieve standardized service. On the basis of standardized service, the hospital promoted the "patient-centered, advocating high-quality service" campaign, achieving good results. With the increase in outpatient visits, along with positive societal evaluations and rising expectations for our hospital's medical standards, our Xiyue Specialized Hospital will effectively promote the consolidation and improvement of medical, nursing, and service positions.

V. Internal coordination, external communication, creating a harmonious development environment for the hospital

For the survival and development of the hospital, a good environment is essential. In this regard, we mainly focused on internal coordination and external communication, solving all internal issues with humanized management. In terms of employee management, on one hand, we strictly enforced system management, standardized the words and deeds of the entire team, and improved everyone's qualities; on the other hand, we inspired employees and united them with sincerity and enthusiasm. We paid attention to frequently adjusting the menu, improving employee meals, making everyone feel at home in the hospital, and allowing them to focus on their jobs.

The above is the work done by our hospital in over a year since its opening. As medical practice deepens and our understanding of the medical market increases, we have realized that the current medical foundation and service quality are still far from meeting patient needs. We will make every effort to increase hospital construction, respect medical science, comply with laws and regulations, improve our medical technology and service, and build a hospital trusted by the elderly residents of Zhangjiagang.

It is important to listen to the problems of employees.
