Apple iPhones and iPod Touch devices come with two default partitions: one is the system partition, which is about 70MB in size, and from a computer user's perspective, we can call it the C drive; the remaining space is the file partition, analogously referred to as the D drive. All programs we install are concentrated on the C drive. After installing a few programs, the system will prompt that the disk space is insufficient and ask you to delete certain photos or videos. This means that the capacity of the C drive has reached its limit and needs to free up space. By installing the software "sysinfo" on an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, you can get a clear view of the disk status and running processes. The idea to increase space is to move the C drive directory to the D drive, allowing you to "infinitely" install more software. This article introduces methods to increase the system directory space for Apple iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
