Later, according to an informed person involved in the rescue, the woman and the child were mother and daughter. The woman reportedly told the rescuers that she had a daughter with her boyfriend, but her boyfriend had recently cut off contact with her. With no other options, she came to where her boyfriend worked and staged this "tower-jumping spectacle" in hopes of forcing him to appear.
