From February 16, 2010 to now, it has been exactly five months since I reported to the bank. Transitioning into an unfamiliar industry, even with my enthusiasm, I still feel somewhat lost at times. I quietly remind myself that this is both an opportunity and a challenge. The only thing to do is to focus, observe, explore, learn, and prepare. Harvest through effort, grow in difficulty. Faced with each praise and recognition from my superiors, every piece of advice and criticism, and the warm smiles and helping hands of my colleagues, I can't help but be grateful. Respecting my leaders and treating my colleagues well, although I have integrated into this young team as quickly as possible, hoping to mature and become independent in the shortest time in work has become the reason for my sleepless nights. I reviewed the work of these five months one by one, though inevitably some things may be omitted, I still hope to see the path taken clearly through summarizing, making the future smoother and more perfect.
One: Corporate market aspect: Through existing resources, we attracted a certain amount of savings. I participated in several knowledge trainings held by the branch, learning negotiation methods from my superiors; in the process of cooperating with reality to complete investigation reports, I understood the writing points and methods; I also learned how to conduct pre-loan on-site inspections for customers while on business trips with experienced colleagues. Although this corporate field seems a bit complex to me, I have gained a certain understanding and familiarity in the slow contact. In terms of satisfaction with myself in the corporate area, I can learn new things quickly, communicate smoothly with customers, and usually leave a good first impression on customers. The shortcomings are insufficient continuous study and research on professionalism, and lack of experience in maintaining customers. Next, I plan to spend more time reading useful books and cases, go out for more on-site learning with colleagues and leaders in the corporate market department, accumulate a complete set of experiences in the corporate market through examples, always pay attention to and use surrounding resources, pay attention to accumulating high-quality customers, and learn how to effectively maintain customers.
Two: Retail business aspect: Retail business is a field that I am relatively interested in, and it is also one of the directions I focus on developing. While learning the main retail business, I actively broaden marketing ideas following the philosophy of my superiors. First, start with activities that I am good at and also like, responsible for matters related to the Poly Art Museum activities. Under the support of my superiors and the help of my colleagues, the opening event of the Poly Art Museum and the two-person joint exhibition of Lu Shi were successfully concluded. The recent results of the activities gradually moving towards profitability also gave me great encouragement, increasing my enthusiasm and drive. Secondly, I always pay attention to supplementing fresh ideas, actively follow up and expand multiple other platforms related to the main business of the bank, hoping to maximize the expansion of bank functions and enrich varieties, formulate more needs based on the characteristics of the branch's customers, promote the increase in the volume of main business through various forms of peripheral activities, such as the ongoing Vanguard Bookstore cooperation matters and Li Xiao calligraphy appreciation lecture. In terms of retail, I am satisfied with having the enthusiasm to develop business, and having some experience in promotional activities, often having ideas and inspiration. The shortcomings are the lack of experience in negotiations with partners, sometimes not being firm enough in attitude, and sometimes lacking maturity in skills. However, I have improved through observing and learning from my superior's negotiation methods, believing that this shortcoming can be improved and perfected in the near future. The plan for the second half of the year is to follow up on the cross-execution of various activity points, lines, and surfaces, solidly do a good job in every activity, summarize and calculate the cost and benefits of each time, use the Internet to expand the publicity influence of the branch, set goals and steadily move forward.
Three: Office work aspect: Office work is also a part that I am very willing to engage in. One reason is that I naturally like to organize processes to achieve clear goals, am relatively meticulous in doing things, and have some life experience, which makes me suitable for this part of the work; another reason is that the current office work is divided into several scattered parts assigned to several people, and the people in these positions are fully loaded with work, and the distraction caused by office work adds to their burden. Sometimes, the same task involves cross-labor among several people, and sometimes due to multiple people being responsible, an event ends up with no one taking responsibility. Currently, I have taken over part of the office affairs, hoping to gradually take over comprehensively next, do a good job in internal support and coordination, let the external staff focus more on external tasks, and also relieve some trivial responsibilities for the leaders. Although office work is fragmented, in my understanding, a good person engaged in office work is like lubricating oil for a machine, providing support in administrative and daily life, making the machine run more smoothly, allowing the group to get along more harmoniously, and improving work efficiency to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
Overall, these five months have been full of efforts and harvests. Although my professional abilities in all aspects are currently imperfect, hard work pays off, and work always gives sincere feedback to those who work hard. I today am no longer the same as five months ago. In the days ahead, whether in moments of exuberance or moments of frustration, I will treat them as competitions with myself. To overcome oneself, after all, is to wait for a grounded ideal. Believe that by the end of the year, I will not just be the same as today.
