Beginner's Guide for Piltover Sheriff Caitlyn

Hero Review:

If used well, it makes opponents feel sick; if used poorly, it makes teammates feel sick.

Skill Application:

Everyone knows the skills so I won’t introduce them specifically here. Let me share some of my experiences. I don't like using Q to restore mana because there isn't much blue initially, try attacking (A) to restore blood instead. The advantage of range easily allows you to hit enemy heroes. If you do use Q to restore mana, make sure you have enough blue to use W and E. For farming, I usually just click the last hit. If the line of soldiers is too far forward in the early stages, it’s not a good thing because it’s easy to get caught. When escaping, I use W first then E. Be mindful that W should be thrown slightly behind you (at your heels), not under your feet, as the trap takes one second to trigger. After throwing the trap, use E on the enemy hero, this way 95% of the time the opponent will step on the trap. Even if they try to avoid the trap, with the slow effect, you can still run quite a distance. If you use E first then W, most people who know how to play will see you throw the trap, except for rookies... R is very effective during mid-game ganks, normally securing kills. In late game team fights, there’s usually no time to throw R, so use it according to the situation.

Talents, Runes:

For runes, take attack speed on blue and yellow, armor penetration on red. Beginners can consider swapping in health runes appropriately.

For talents, take 21 points in offense, 9 points in utility.

We are output, firepower is crucial.

Equipment:

Start with Doran's Blade, which works well whether solo top or mid. Madred's Razors and Infinity Edge are essential. If the enemy has many tanks, pick up Last Whisper later. Black Cleaver and Bloodthirster are also great choices. Personally, I play rather aggressively so I rarely buy defensive items. Always carry wards; as the saying goes, "a player without wards is not a good player." Adjust equipment based on the game situation.

Summoner Skill Introduction:

Flash, Ghost, bring your own Yordle Trap and 90mm Nets. With skills available, unless stunned to death, generally the danger is not significant. It's recommended that beginners pay attention, the most important thing in the game is not to kill but to stay alive.

Advantages & Disadvantages:

Long range

Low health, short legs, hard to survive if initiated by more than two people.

Role in the Team:

Firepower Output, protect ranged DPS. Under normal circumstances, when team fights begin, target melee heroes, if no melee then target tanks. Don’t think about rushing in to attack the enemy ranged output when all enemies are alive, that's unrealistic. Even if you flank from the side, if more than two people come to attack you, without teammate protection, you will find it hard to survive. Charging is the job of warriors, we are snipers. Stand back near our ranged members and pre-place W traps to effectively prevent enemy rush-type heroes from killing our heroes. 1.5 seconds of immobilization is enough to cripple them. Before team fights, it's best to pre-place some traps, sometimes they can work wonders. If there are bushes around, fight in the bushes, the small burst from three attacks with one headshot is very powerful.

Jungle Skills:

Forget it, skills aren't strong enough for jungling.

Farming Skills:

Just two words "creep line". If the creep line is pushed too far forward while solo top or mid, it's self-destructive behavior. Not recommended to use Q to farm. Stay in the middle or rear area is better. When bottom lane with two people, push the line forward to destroy towers.

Other:

Personally, I believe the key to winning this game lies in destroying towers, having vision, and coordination. Of course, ideal operation and awareness are also indispensable. Strongly recommend starting with wards, LOL without vision is something you can't afford to play.
