Flake's new movie "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Tower" is currently being filmed in Hengdian. In order to lead the audience back to the Tang Dynasty, the production team spent millions to create eight major scenes of a Luoyang city: the Hu People Street that incorporates various cultural scents, the Word Burning Repository, the Honglu Inn, and a 230-meter tall Tian Buddha, among others. There will even be a dazzling ghost market. The character designs in the movie also align with these settings. According to Flake's disclosure, the costume colors for the Empress Wu Zetian character, portrayed by Maggie Cheung, are splendid, and her outfits have been given many symbolic meanings. For instance, in one scene set during an imperial examination, Empress Wu sits alone on a high platform watching the martial arts competition for the title of top warrior. With tens of thousands of soldiers present at such a grand and expansive scene, Flake stated that she must possess considerable presence to adequately represent the symbol of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
