Boston (AP) -- A new book claims to have definitive evidence for a long-suspected tech crime -- that Alexander Graham Bell stole the concept of the telephone from a rival, Elisha Gray. Journalist Seth Shulman, in "The Telephone Gambit: Chasing Alexander Graham Bell's Secret," questions whether Bell -- with the help of a few tough lawyers and a somewhat corrupt patent examiner -- secretly looked at Gray's patent submission and has been mistakenly credited as the first person to invent the telephone.
