L'Oréal and Christian Dior lipstick lead exceeded the U.S. limit.

Recently, the U.S. Campaign for Safe Cosmetics Quality Inspection Organization published a report that one third of lipsticks in the United States contain excessive lead. Those which have high lead content include L'Oreal's red Fun Run Zezi lipstick, L'Oreal Classic Fun Run Zezi wine red lipstick, Cover Girl bright red lipstick and dark red lipstick Dior Addict.

Yesterday (15), the reporter found that several of these products are sold in Zhengzhou, but because different products are supplied in different countries and regions, it is uncertain whether the lead content in these lipsticks exceeds the limit.

It is understood that a U.S. laboratory sampled 33 brands of red lipsticks from the U.S. market in September this year. The detection showed that the lead content in some lipsticks exceeded the limit. L'Oreal Zezi Fun Run Lead is toxic red lipstick by 6.5 times, L'Oreal Classic Fun Run Zezi wine red lipstick lead exceeded by 5.8 times, and the dark red lipstick Dior Addict lead exceeded by 2.1 times. Some experts said long-term use of lipsticks with lead content exceeding the limit may cause chronic lead poisoning.

In department stores and large businesses such as the new Dennis Matejinbo store, the reporter found charm in the Dior counter dark red lipstick. However, the Purchasing Guide stated that all the lipsticks currently on the market in Zhenghou are imported from France. As to whether the lead levels detected in the United States exceed the limit regarding these lipsticks, they have not received any notice.

At several shopping centers' L'Oreal counters, the Purchasing Guide told reporters that the two red and burgundy lipsticks on the Henan Zezi Fun market should not be related to the U.S. detected excessive lead content lipsticks, because these products are manufactured in Suzhou.
