Opera Aida: Not Verdi

In 1230 BC, during the time of the Egyptian Pharaoh, an epic love story blossomed between Aida and Radames amidst the fiery conflict of two sworn enemy nations. Though the theme is simple and pure, its staging was as grandiose as events like the opening of the Suez Canal or the inauguration of the Cairo Opera House. In 1871, Verdi's "Opera Aida" made its debut; in November 2007, CM Inc.'s version of "Opera Aida" took the stage with brilliance.

The opera "Aida" centers on the tension between Ethiopia and Egypt.
