The F-Driver is an audio transducer, but it itself is not a speaker. However, when you place it on a table, the table becomes a speaker; when you put it on glass, the glass becomes a speaker. Therefore, it can turn any rigid solid surface into a speaker. Since the F-Driver is waterproof and heat-resistant (up to 100°C), it can even be installed under a bathtub or in a sauna room, allowing you to enjoy music while bathing. To put it more simply, the F-Driver changes the traditional way of using a coil to drive a paper cone to produce sound (i.e., a speaker). Instead, it uses surrounding materials to express volume and tone. If you hold it in your hand, you can only hear a faint sound. The F-Driver can be directly connected to any audio device such as MP3, MP4, laptops, iPods, and CDs.
