Guo Ping is 24 years old. In 07 he left his hometown to work in Wuxi. Before the Spring Festival of 10, Guo Ping wanted to go home for the New Year, but without money for fare, he took the opportunity to rob in the underground parking garage of a residential area in Meicun, the new district of Wuxi. When the victim went to get her car, Guo Ping saw that she was alone, so when she sat on the driver's seat, he knocked on the car window and said that the right front wheel of her car was deflated. When the victim got out of the car to check, he held a knife to her throat and robbed 490 yuan. Then he asked the victim to drive him to the highway entrance.

During the trip, Guo Ping kept the knife to the victim's right leg. In order to ease the atmosphere, Guo Ping began to chat with the victim, repeatedly explaining that he had no choice but to rob because he didn't have money to go home. He said that this money was like borrowing from her and he would definitely pay it back. To prove that he would pay it back, Guo Ping showed the victim his house rental contract and wrote an IOU (noting his name, ID number, home address, etc.).

Can the victim escape from Guo Ping's control? Can the money on the IOU be returned?

The robber's IOU -- to be aired soon on "Economy and Law".
