After Yue Caiguo's disease was diagnosed, the whole family began to run around for him. The doctor said that in order to cure uremia, kidney transplant surgery must be done.

On the afternoon of the 28th day, Yue Caiguo who had just been discharged from the hospital at Qilu Hospital returned home. He looked like he was recovering well. This year, Yue Caiguo is 38 years old and has suffered from this painful disease for 12 years.

With careful attention to his diet and continuous exercise, Yue Xiyuan lost weight from over 170 pounds to 150 pounds within two months, and his face became thin and bony. In December 2010, Yue Xiyuan went to Qilu Hospital again and after inspection all indicators were normal. On December 10, the surgery was successfully performed on both father and son.

"I am afraid that people will say I am mentally abnormal if I pick up bricks, so I will pick up dry firewood." Yue Xiyuan would carry a woven bag every day before dawn and go running on the river dike while bending down to pick up dry firewood from time to time. "I don't know how many hours I exercise each day, as long as there is time, I will go." In this way, Yue Xiyuan would carry several bags of dry firewood home everyday.

In early October 2010, after matching blood types at Qilu Hospital, the doctor told Yue Xiyuan that it was dangerous for someone of his age to do a kidney transplant surgery. Yue Xiyuan said: "Even if I have to sacrifice my life, I must save my son."

This reporter learned from Heze on January 30th (reported by Huang Tijun, Zhang Jiye, Yue Rongrong) that on the afternoon of the 29th, winter sunshine warmly shone on the ground. In an ordinary farmhouse courtyard in Li Shuanglou Village, Bai Fu Town, Chengwu County, Heze, 62-year-old Yue Xiyuan sat inside the house and kept touching his slightly uncomfortable left abdomen. But he felt a kind of indescribable comfort in his heart: It has been exactly 50 days since he donated his kidney to his son Yue Caiguo, and now his son has been discharged from the hospital and returned home. The whole family can reunite and spend the Spring Festival together.

In 1999, Yue Caiguo often felt pain in his feet, but at the time he did not take it seriously. Later, his right foot and leg hurt more and more severely and began to swell. "Around February 2006, I went to the county hospital for examination and found out that I had uremia."

When they returned home, Yue Xiyuan only ate vegetables. The doctor also suggested that he run every day and do some exercises during the run, such as bending down to pick up bricks or stones along the road.

More than ten years ago, Yue Xiyuan suffered from cerebral hemorrhage which left sequelae, causing mild hemiplegia on the right side of his body. Moreover, he also suffered from hyperlipidemia, weighing over 170 pounds at 1.6 meters tall. The doctor told him that if he wanted to do the surgery, he must lose weight first.

His wife Chen Suyun came to the hospital to test her blood type, but it was inconsistent with her husband's, so she could not donate her kidney. "Later, my parents disregarded their own age of 60 and also went to the hospital for testing," Chen Suyun said with tears in her eyes. The result showed that her father's blood type was consistent with her husband's.
