By 2011/03/04 Published: When it comes to toys, what could be simpler than cooking toys? Rubber apples, rubber beef... No, this series of Japanese cooking toys from Popin Cookin not only includes cooking utensils, but for the ingredients, they use powder mixed with water to create incredibly realistic toy food—I almost want to put them in my mouth. Each box of Popin Cookin, priced at 258 yen, contains different powders. By adding water and stirring, you can make various foods like sausages, sushi, rice balls, pasta, and more.

This toy system is so realistic that I don't think it's quite suitable for young children to play with alone—it’s better left for us big kids!
