In addition to Panasonic's 60MB/s high-speed SDHC card, Toshiba today also released its own UHS-I standard SDHC card with a higher speed of 95MB/s, which is currently the world's fastest SD memory card.

The card complies with the UHS-I high-speed standard and the UHS Speed Class 1 high-definition video storage standard, which were just announced in June, and of course the SDHC Class 10 speed standard. Its maximum read speed is 95MB/s and write speed is 80MB/s, which is not much less than some top CF cards. However, because the UHS-I standard requires the support of 104MB/s interface bandwidth on the card reader and device side, although the card can also be used on products that do not support UHS-I, the speed will certainly be greatly discounted.

Toshiba said its UHS-I high-speed SDHC card will be available in November, with a 32GB capacity priced at about 40,000 yen, equivalent to about 3,200 yuan. The 16GB/8GB version will be launched in December, priced at around 20,000 yen / 10,000 yen, respectively.
