Principle of operation of the vibrating screen

When the vibrating screen is working, the two motors rotate synchronously in opposite directions, causing the exciter to produce a reverse excitation force, forcing the screen body to drive the screen mesh to make longitudinal movements. The material on it is subjected to the excitation force and periodically thrown forward a distance, thereby completing the material screening operation. It is suitable for gravel screening in quarries and can also be used in coal selection, mineral processing, building materials, electric power, and chemical industries for product grading.

[1] Structure and advantages of the vibrating screen:

Structure of the vibrating screen:

It mainly consists of a screen box, exciter, suspension (or support) device, and motor. The motor drives the main shaft of the exciter through a V-belt. Due to the centrifugal inertial force of the unbalanced weight on the exciter, the screen box vibrates. By changing the eccentric weight of the exciter, different amplitudes can be obtained.

Main advantages of the vibrating screen:

1. Due to the strong vibration of the screen box, the phenomenon of material clogging the screen holes is reduced, giving the screen higher screening efficiency and productivity.

2. Simple construction, easy to replace the screen surface.

3. Low electricity consumption for screening each ton of material.
