The computer company from Utah, Fusion-io, has released a PCIe storage card based on 640GB flash memory called ioDrive. Such a large capacity seems to make hard drives obsolete.
Not only is its capacity impressive, but its performance is also remarkable. It can support up to 800MB per minute for reading and 600MB per minute for writing data. It comes in versions of 80GB, 320GB, and 640GB, with plans to release a 1.2TB version as well.
