Tianjin, December 8th - (reported by Hong Zhu for People's Daily Online) This morning, over 150 representatives from the General Staff Department, National Defense University, Academy of Military Science, Armed Police Force headquarters, and units across the entire military gathered at the Armed Police Command College to jointly celebrate the establishment of the Armed Police Branch of the Chinese Military Science Society in Tianjin.
The Armed Police Branch of the Chinese Military Science Society is the first comprehensive and popular academic organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs since the reorganization of the Armed Police Force. It is also the 12th branch of the Chinese Military Science Society. The establishment of the Armed Police Branch fills the gap where there was no representation for the Armed Police within the Military Science Society, which is significant for promoting military theoretical research within the Armed Police Force, improving the organizational structure of the society, and fostering the prosperity and development of military science.
The Armed Police Branch of the Chinese Military Science Society aims to "innovate, flourish, and develop military theory for the Armed Police," adhering to the principle of "serving the construction of the force, serving the teaching of colleges, and serving leadership decision-making." Its main content focuses on research into Armed Police military theory, academic exchanges, and consulting services. It serves as a platform for academic exchange in Armed Police military theory, a think tank for decision-making, and a bridge for collaborative research between institutions and forces.
Vice President of the Chinese Military Science Society, Chaotian Wang, said that the establishment of the Armed Police Branch has significant theoretical and practical implications for advancing the construction and scientific development of the Armed Police Force under informatized conditions, leading the innovation and development of Armed Police military theoretical research, and further consolidating and enhancing the capability of the Armed Police Force to fulfill its assigned missions.
