Feelings about the Expansion Training: Please Trust Each Other ——
"Effective Communication, Enhanced Cooperation" Training Insights by Lin Qiwei
"In that moment, I felt that I had to trust the other person; I had already entrusted my life to them." This sentence was my deepest impression after participating in a mountain climbing activity as part of a training session on effective communication and cooperation.
On June 10th, I was fortunate enough to join more than twenty other colleagues in a "Effective Communication, Enhanced Cooperation" training session organized by the Human Resources Department. The training, conducted by Banyuan Management Consulting Co., Ltd., combined practical experiences with theoretical explanations. One of the most typical examples was the "Climb to the Peak" activity.
I've climbed mountains before, but this time it was completely refreshing! First, the weather cooperated perfectly — we experienced a decent downpour while climbing. Second, instead of following the original trail, we forged our own path up the mountain. Third, and most importantly, half of us were blindfolded both going up and coming down. When climbing up, I couldn't see the mountain path or even the direction to move forward. "I didn’t know where I should go, nor what lay ahead of me," but the reason and motivation for my smooth arrival at the top of the small peak entirely came from my colleague beside me! Without them, I wouldn’t have dared to take a single step forward. Thanks to their timely guidance, I knew when and which direction to move towards, ensuring I didn’t fall or get injured. Even further, I began to ponder: if there had been a cliff or deep pool, without someone’s guidance or due to someone's misleading, what would have been my fate?
Fortunately, I knew my partner was fully committed to helping me, so I trusted him completely. Through mutual assistance, I successfully reached my destination. Of course, regardless of how much help my colleague provided, every step on the mountain still had to be taken by myself. In the midst of the rain, we were all helping and encouraging each other towards a common goal of reaching the summit. I couldn't help but tell the instructor, "This feeling is truly wonderful."
From this, whether in work or daily life, I am very optimistic. Because during this process, we all feel immense happiness — happiness stemming from being able to bring convenience and help to others simply because we are alive. This is the value of our communication and cooperation, and perhaps even the value of our existence.
Believe in the other person, and not only do you benefit yourself, but also the other person; or rather, not only does the other person benefit, but also yourself. It's a simple truth. Thank you for this opportunity, thank you for this experience!
Trainee Feedback: No Longer Hesitant (Yang Ning)
A song titled "No Longer Hesitant" marked the start of a two-day one-night outdoor expansion training activity. Remember, when I arrived, I was indeed filled with doubts about my future, hesitating over my present and tomorrow. From childhood to now, I’ve walked through various storms. Perhaps due to youth, I always thought making mistakes wasn't a big deal because my journey was long; falling down? No problem, I was used to living such a life. But from now on, I am a real adult. I’m no longer the naive person I once was. In the future, I will bear various responsibilities — to society, family, work, and life. At this moment, I started to hesitate, I started to feel lost. How should I begin this most important phase of my life? How should I face all these things? Carrying these questions and hesitations, I entered this two-day one-night training camp.
Two days and one night passed quickly, like it just started and now it’s ending. Looking back on this short yet exciting time, together we faced the sun’s challenge under the blazing heat; together we searched for treasures in the forest; together we underwent various kinds of training on the playground... We also contemplated our future. Time went by bit by bit, and precisely within this passing time, in sweat and hard work, we found ourselves, found our goals for the future, found hope. We finally understood: the past is the past, mastering the future is the most important thing. Knowing our abilities allows us to affirm our capabilities, allowing us to utilize them. Only by giving our all, unleashing our full potential, can we make our road ahead the best and most fulfilling!
A song called "Grateful Heart" concluded this unforgettable day. At this moment, I want to thank not others, but the instructors who spent these two days and one night with us, leading us to break through numerous obstacles. They helped me find confidence in the victory for my future, and discover my shortcomings in failure.
The road is walked by oneself, how to walk it, the results, the hardships, can only be truly understood by oneself. We must always carry a grateful heart, thanking those who have helped and inspired us along our life journey, at the training base, and at the same time, generously extend our friendly hand to others!
