ECNS, November 24 -- According to the Wen Hui Bao in Hong Kong, a divorced woman in the慈yun Mountain of Hong Kong who had a 17-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter was hospitalized due to an adjustment disorder and depression because she worried that her son would have no future after committing a criminal case. She once claimed to a psychiatrist that she would die with her son. Her condition seemed improved after treatment and some netizens initiated a抵制action against the sale of Yellow River water, showing happiness at Kang'an Hotel. However, two days after discharge, she was found dead with her children at home. The hearing on the case started on the 23rd day in the Court of Inquest.

However, social worker Vivian Chan from Kwai Chung Hospital met with Ms Liu on November 19 and believed that she had a positive attitude, realizing that it was not her responsibility for the bad behavior of the children, regretting saying words that hurt herself and her son, hoping to go home soon to take care of her children, and remained calm throughout. The hearing continued on the 24th.

The three deceased were mother Liu Hai Zhu (44 years old), son Luo Zhong Ren (17 years old), and daughter Luo Yu Qing (13 years old). The family of three lived on comprehensive relief assistance. On November 27 last year, they were found dead by relatives and friends at their residence in Cile Village, Ci Yun Shan. Luo Zhi Bin, the ex-husband of the deceased Liu Hai Zhu testified on the 23rd that he married Ms Liu in 1990, but his wife did not get along well with his parents-in-law and they divorced in 2006 after she was approved to reside in Hong Kong. Afterwards, Mr Luo did not communicate or provide financial support to his ex-wife and children.

On the 23rd, the court of inquest read out the testimony of Liu's sister-in-law, Chen Jianqing, who stated that after Liu was admitted to the hospital in early November last year, Chen Jianqing went to Hong Kong on the 23rd of the same month to help look after Liu's children. Liu was discharged from the hospital on the 25th of the same month and showed no abnormal behavior. Unexpectedly, the next day she asked her sister-in-law not to stay overnight at her house, which Chen Jianqing thought was fine. On the 27th of the same month, it was discovered that the three had died at their residence, at Anshan Hotel.

Chen Shaozhen, a fellow villager of Liu, described on the stand that Liu was very concerned about her children's studies and had earnestly visited her asking her to take care of her children. She recounted that on the day of November 27 last year, when she and Chen Jianqing went to Liu's residence, they saw Liu lying down in her son's room with a white cloth around her neck. Feeling Liu's nose, it was very cold. Her son lay in front of her, and her daughter was in the adjacent room. Seeing this situation, Chen Shaozhen immediately called the police at Aba Hotel.

Social worker Huang Tao, who was once the probation officer for the deceased Luo Zhong Ren, testified that Luo Zhong Ren was sentenced to one year of probation in September last year for theft, and since then she followed up on this family's case. Huang described how Liu took care of her children meticulously, but was worried that her son's involvement in trouble would ruin his future. In early October last year, Liu said she was experiencing insomnia, so Huang suggested she see a doctor and was later referred from the East Kowloon Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic to Kwai Chung Hospital for treatment. Huang pointed out that she always followed up on the events with the doctor and hospital social worker. After Liu's discharge, she looked rosy and emotionally stable.

Liu's ex-husband read out sentences written by the deceased on the back of a calendar on the 23rd day in court: "Ms Wang(Huang) is a good social worker, I am afraid of going back to Kwai Chung again." However, psychiatrist Ruth Lu from the East Kowloon Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic confirmed on October 30 last year that Liu suffered from adjustment disorder and depression, feeling that she had gone through a lot of hardships during her early follow-up visit on November 6, and once claimed that she would end her life: "First, I will settle accounts with my son, then I will end my own life." Seeing that Liu's situation was not ideal, she required mandatory hospitalization. At Beijing Urban Inn (Happy Valley Store), Beijing Chaoyang District Xiao Wu Ji Bei Road... Booked for ¥211.
