Using LED numeric displays versus using LCD liquid crystal displays for temperature and time

- Using LED displays provides limited information, the interface is not aesthetically pleasing, and displaying both time and temperature is extremely inconvenient. It also occupies a large volume. Moreover, when a larger amount of information needs to be displayed (such as two temperature values and the time), a large number of LEDs are required, which will occupy many pins, and the software design becomes relatively more complex.

- An LCD can provide stronger page display functionality with lower power consumption. The pages displayed on an LCD are more intuitive and clear compared to LED displays. When displaying a large amount of information, the LCD occupies less space than LEDs, offering better cost-performance.

It is easy to see that in this design, using an LCD for display is the better choice.
