The story of "Shadow" is set at the end of the Ming Dynasty, when masters from both the black and white paths frequently appear in the palace and the江湖 (jianghu), fighting for the "treasure map". After several battles and countless laughs, the masters discover a "clichéd" truth: the real treasure was in their hearts all along.
In "Lingling Dog", Louis Koo plays the imperial secret agent "Lingling Dog", who is obsessed with inventions and doesn't take the heroine played by Dai Si seriously. However, in the end, he still saves the day with his comical inventions, achieving a "double harvest" of love and career.
