On July 28, several taxis on strike were parked near a gas station in Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province. Starting from 6:00 am that morning, about two thirds of the taxis in Wenzhou stopped operating. Meanwhile, at several places such as Renmin Road, Huanglong Block Area, and Shuangyu Bus Station, some taxis were smashed. After the event happened, the government and police of Wenzhou City have started an emergency plan. On one hand, they actively organized the taxi owners to resume operation; on the other hand, they urgently allocated more than 100 buses to solve the problem of citizens' going out, while at the same time summoning eight people who caused the cars to be smashed. The event is being processed now.
